South African artistes Deep Fried Man and Bucie are expected to be part of the main acts at Shoko Festival. Festival organisers announced that they will bring these acts to the festival to add to their packed menu of South African artists which includes the likes Cassper Nyovest.

“This year’s edition of the festival will have a lot of energy since there are many acts,” noted the organisers.

“We will have comedy, music and the spoken word at one place therefore, there will be lots of energy at the festival. Deep Fried Man has performed at South Africa’s biggest comedy events and he has established himself as a top comedian in his homeland. Bucie is an R‘n’B and house music singer, who has performed around Africa and was part of the acts the 2015 MTV Africa Awards.

We do the ‘Peace in the Hood’ day to promote local talent in the high density areas. This year we are in Chitungwiza and we want to promote local talent and create employment.”
