SOUTH African artistes are expected to descend on the mining town of Gwanda this month for a series of high-profile shows aimed at ushering revellers into the festive season.
Popular entertainment venue Phoenix Shisanyama will host TMan Express, DJ Zinhle and Young Stunna in a three-week entertainment extravaganza.
TMan Express, the hitmaker behind Remember, will kick off the entertainment programme on November 7, followed by DJ Zinhle, who will headline an all-white affair on November 14. Young Stunna is expected to bring the curtain down on the series on November 21.
Event promoter and Phoenix Shisanyama proprietor Tapiwa “Gandz” Gandiwa said the shows would also provide opportunities for local artistes to showcase their talent and grow their brands.
“We will be hosting some of the prominent, established and successful artistes on the African continent. Their coming should not only appease their fans but also provide an opportunity for local acts to grow their brands.
“We are working on selecting a number of local artistes to be part of these shows as we continue with our vision of creating breakthrough opportunities for local artistes,” said Gandz.
