GOSPEL musician Sabastian Magacha has teamed up with Mukudzei Junior, the son of celebrated musician Jah Prayzah, on a new single.
Titled “Madiro”, the song was released with visuals.
The collaboration marks Mukudzei Junior’s latest musical outing as he continues to explore his talents under the shadow of his father.
His dad has established himself as one of Zimbabwe’s leading contemporary musicians.
Mukudzei Junior has recorded several songs, benefiting from the guidance of his father.
Magacha said the song was inspired by his desire to use music to spread the Christian message and bring hope to people.
“I am so blessed to introduce our brand new song and official video ‘Madiro’ featuring Mukudzei Junior,” said Magacha.
“The song was born from my divine mission, God has sent me to bring people to Christ through music and He allowed me to work with children, for such is the kingdom of heaven.”
Magacha also thanked Jah Prayzah for allowing him to work with his son.
“My heartfelt thanks go to the father, Jah Prayzah, for trusting me and allowing me to work with his son.
“It means so much to me. May God bless your family abundantly,” he said.
Magacha said ‘Madiro’ carries a message of hope, healing and faith with the musician hoping it will touch listeners beyond the entertainment value.
“I truly believe ‘Madiro’ will speak to souls, heal the broken hearted, restore hope and change lives for the glory of Jesus,” he said.
The song was produced by The Mixing Doctors Tanzania and Stot at JP Studios while the video was directed by Mr Hasty Hastings Chiromo under Mkoma Saba Production.
In 2020, Mukudzei Junior released his debut solo single, ‘Rovai Ngoma’, which was featured on the Nash TV Color Vibes platform.
