Sadza’s best friend: Beef short ribs stew

500g beef stew
Salt to taste
¼ tsp Garlic and herbs
¼ tsp Onion powder
¼ tsp Paprika
1 clove Fresh garlic
¼ teaspoon all-purpose flour
3 large Tomatoes
2tablespoons Cooking Oil
Instructions
Heat oil in a pan and sear the short ribs and get them nice and brown and flavourful. Then remove them from the pot and set them aside — you will add them back in later.
Remove from the pan and set aside.
In the same pan saute’ onions, garlic, carrots and peppers then add tomatoes mix well and add some tomato paste combine well and return the meat in the pan.
Add a cup water and cook on low heat until water is reduced
Remove excess oil and serve.
You can add in potatoes, carrots, peas and beans.
This stew is best served with sadza, rice or mashed potatoes. — Online
