SAFEGUARD Security Group has scooped the customer service excellence award from Contact Centre Association of Zimbabwe (CCAZ), which presents annual awards to recognise excellence, professionalism and outstanding achievements in all sectors of the economy.Last week, the company also received a quality management systems certification award for the second year in a row.

CCAZ business development manager Dominic Manhundu said Safeguard shrugged off competition from two other contestants, Securio and Fawcett.

“After thorough evaluation Safeguard was found worthy of the award. They offer excellent customer service,” he said.

Safeguard Security group chief executive, Andrew Mallon said the awards were a recognition of company growth on the backbone of strong principles.

“We provide to our customers a range of tried and tested products and services, using the latest technology and systems. We also ensure provision of satisfying long term employment for our staff, transparency and integrity,” said Mallon.

“Over and above this, the company’s founder has instilled pride in the business, a passion for its customers and service and a desire to operate at the highest levels.”

He said Safeguard encourages innovative ideas on how to further improve customer service and products.

“While we’ve a service type structure, we’ve a very open approach to ideas and innovations. Our motto is: ‘Everyone is empowered for quality,’” he said.
