Sandra explores gospel genre

Sandy, as Ndebele is affectionately known in music circles, went on a maternity hiatus in April last year. She said her latest offering was expected to hit the streets next month.
In an interview, Ndebele said fans must expect a great album as she worked with several artistes of different genres.

“I took my time working on the album and I collaborated with South Africa-based outfit Platform One, locally based gospel group Conquerors, among others,” said Ndebele.
The sultry Afro-pop songstress said the album would also feature gospel and urban grooves tracks.
“This new album is ideally made to suit all types of audiences so you will notice that it has three gospel and two urban tracks so that the whole family can have a listen to it,” she said.

Ndebele  has established herself as one of the best entertainers in the country as evidenced by her energetic gyrations.
Ndebele kick-started her career when she was at school before joining the now internationally acclaimed Iyasa, which she later abandoned to pursue a solo career.

As if to testify about her natural talent, during her high school days she scooped various accolades for public speaking before she fell in love with the art of poetry, dance and music.
It was during her flirtation with the Iyasa troupe that she perfected her shake and swirl dancing skills.

The mother of two tied the knot with her long-time  UK-based beau early last year before giving birth to a bouncing baby boy, Bayanda Sibindi, in April. The Malaika hit maker made headlines last year after performing at the Independence gala when she was heavily pregnant.

Ndebele boasts of five albums to date, namely Tshayatshaya, Ekhaya, Bub-Encane, Ayoyoyo, and the last one, Life goes on.
