School loses 27 laptops to thieves in Chivhu

POLICE have launched a manhunt for suspected thieves who broke into a primary school in Chivhu before stealing 27 laptops.

The incident is reported to have occurred between February 20 and 25, 2026. National police spokesperson Commissioner Paul Nyathi confirmed the incident.

“Police in Chivhu are appealing for information which may assist in the investigation of a case of unlawful entry into premises and theft which occurred between February 20, 2026 and February 25, 2026, at a primary school,” he said.

“An unknown suspect broke into the school computer laboratory and stole 27 laptops. Anyone with information that might assist with investigations should contact the nearest police station.”
