Scot Vincent continues to impress

ZIMBABWEAN golf sensation Scott Vincent produced another good performance as he finished tied in fourth place at the Brickyard Collegiate Golf Championship at the Riverside Golf Course over the weekend. Vincent, the Atlantic Coast Conference Player of the Month for September, is now ranked 18th in the Golfweek / Sagarin rankings.

Winner of the first two events of the season, he played in the first position for The Virginia Tech men’s team.
Vincent continued with his hot start this season as he recorded eight-under-par 208 and finished in a tie for fourth place.

He finished just one stroke behind co-medalist Emmanuel Kountakis and Hans Reimers of Mercer and Seth Reeves of Georgia Tech.
The Hokies shot rounds of 283-282-284 for the 849 total.

All three rounds were under par.
The host Mercer Bears won the tournament with a total of 27-under-par

Six of the top 50 teams in the Golfweek/Sagarin poll competed at Brickyard.
