SENIOR Zimbabwean Government officials attending the Ministerial Seminar for Senior Public Management Officials of Zimbabwe in Beijing, China, took time to tour the Zimbabwean stand at the 2026 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS), gaining insights into opportunities presented by the global trade and services exhibition.

The delegation, led by Public Service Deputy Minister Mercy Dinha, is in China for the ministerial seminar organised by the Academy for International Business Officials (AIBO), which seeks to expose Zimbabwean senior public officials to experiences and practices in public sector management and national development.

During the visit to the Zimbabwean exhibition stand, the officials familiarised themselves with the country’s representation at CIFTIS and the opportunities the fair presents for showcasing Zimbabwe’s products, services, investment opportunities and economic potential to the international market.

The tour also provided an opportunity for the delegation to appreciate the role of trade fairs such as CIFTIS in promoting international trade and strengthening economic and commercial links between participating countries.

Deputy Minister Dinha’s delegation is participating in the AIBO-organised seminar as part of Zimbabwe’s continued efforts to strengthen the capacity of senior public management officials through international cooperation and exposure to different approaches to governance and public sector administration.
CIFTIS, one of China’s major international platforms for trade in services, brings together governments, businesses and institutions from around the world to exchange ideas, explore partnerships and promote international cooperation in the services sector.
