A WOMAN claims her husband forces her to have sex with him in front of their six children.
Their eldest child is 21.
Rumbidzayi Mamvura told the Harare Civil Court that Precious Mangayi was always forcing her to perform this sickening act.
She was granted a protection order by magistrate Judith Taruvinga.
“He forces me to have sex with him in front of the children even though four of our children are now adults.
“Our first child is 21, second 16, third 15, fourth 12, fifth 9 and last 3 years old. He always assaults me each time l refuse to sleep with him in front of the children.”
Mangayi denied the allegations and claimed that his wife was being misled by church members.
“I do not want my family to go to church, rather they should believe in the ATR religion.”
The heart of ATR religion is the maintenance of African culture and its main feature is loyalty to the ancestors and the accompanying rituals which express that loyalty.
It was dominant in Africa before the arrival of European settlers.
