SHE-DEVIL TUTOR CAGED: Woman slapped with 15 years for defiling pupil

A 26-YEAR-OLD female private tutor has been caged for 15 years after being convicted of three counts of aggravated indecent assault.

The Harare Regional Magistrates’ Court heard the chilling details of how the trusted educator turned predator against her 10-year-old student.

The harrowing abuse took place between August and October 2025. The court heard that the offender chased the minor across borders, with incidents occurring in Gaborone, Botswana and in the leafy suburb of Borrowdale, Harare.

In a twisted betrayal of trust, the offender would call the victim and order her to remove her clothes before “inserting her fingers into the victim’s privates.”

To keep her dirty secret, the tutor acted like a mafia boss and threatened the terrified little girl with violence if she dared to spill the beans to anyone.

The long arm of the law finally caught up with the tutor when the victim’s mother noticed something was terribly wrong. The mother raised the alarm after noticing her daughter had “difficulty walking” due to the abuse.

The National Prosecuting Authority of Zimbabwe (NPAZ) welcomed the sentence, sending a stern warning to would-be offenders.
“The courts maintain a zero-tolerance policy against those who violate the sanctity and safety of children, especially in a position of trust like a tutor,” the NPAZ said in a statement following the conviction.
