A Bulawayo woman’s attempt to shame a married man who has been constantly pestering her for sex went awry when her rival sprung to his defence accusing her of being a “loose woman with no morals”.
Melusi Nkomazana from Nkulumane suburb mocked Coryn Ncube saying he was too smart to force himself on a woman who had slept with almost every man in the suburb.
“She is a loose woman with no morals at all. I was once in an intimate relationship with her. I’m too smart to force myself on her again,” thundered Nkomazana.
A seemingly shocked presiding magistrate Rachael Mukanga asked Nkomazana: “Why are you labelling her (Ncube) a loose woman? Have you ever slept with her?
“Yes and she is known in the whole suburb (as a loose woman). She has slept with almost every man in the community,” Nkomazana unperturbedly responded.
Nkomazana ridiculed Ncube after she had accused him of verbally harassing her and constantly pestering her for sex.
“I stay in the same area with Melusi Nkomazana and he has been abusing me for some time. He verbally abuses me calling me a prostitute, the reason being that I turned down his love proposal since he is married.
“He threatened to beat me up whenever he sees me in the company of my male friends. He is always following me and I am no longer feeling safe because of his threats,” complained Ncube while requesting a peace order to be granted against Nkomazana.
Nkomazana was, however, not opposed to Ncube’s request saying her application was just a plot to stop him from exposing
their past “sexual” experiences to her new lover.
“I am not opposed to her application for a peace order. She drags me to court because she has been impregnated by another man. She told me that the man who impregnated her had sternly warned her that if ever he sees us together he would deny the pregnancy,” responded Nkomazana.
Ncube vehemently dismissed Nkomazana’s allegations that she was pregnant.
“It is not true that I’m pregnant and I am not even in a relationship. I have never been in a relationship with him as he has claimed,” Ncube hit back.
For the purpose of maintaining peace between the two parties the magistrate in her ruling ordered Nkomazana not to verbally and physically abuse Ncube or threaten her in any way.
