Shinsoman finds new trade

Shinsoman isn’t the big Zim dancehall draw he was a few years ago. But he hopes that name recognition could still do something for him in his new trade — selling cars.
The “Mama Devante”, “Mawaya-Waya” and “Ndakupenga” hitmaker is understood to already be giving established car dealers in Harare a good run, though he insists that music remains his real love.

“I was buying and selling cars and this kept me busy such that I was left with no time for music.

“In fact this has been giving more money than ever. But please rest assured that I will not quit music for anything,” he said.

Shinso, the “Dancehall Father”, adds that his recently released single “Vanorwadziwa” featuring Ninja Lipsy is a clear sign that he is still in the game.

“I wasn’t quiet like most of you guys are thinking.

“I am busy composing new songs. One of the singles featuring Lipsy is already out and more singles will soon follow,” said Shinso.

“This is a heavy track just for this year and it will show people that I am serious about my music..

We did a video shoot for the song and it will soon be showing on DStv’s Trace.”

The dancehall singer has over the years collaborated with fellow stars like Winky D, Soul Jah Love, Killer T, Freeman and Seh Calaz.
