Simple yet satisfying egg mayo sandwich

 

THIS egg mayo sandwich is simple, fast and delicious that everyone will love.

Ingredients:

6 hard-boiled eggs

½ teaspoon of salt

¼ teaspoon of black pepper

½ green pepper

1 small sized onion

12 slices of bread

Margarine

½ teaspoon sugar

3 to 4 tablespoons of mayonnaise

How to prepare:

In a pot boil 4 eggs to your preference, I prefer mine hard boiled cool them and peel.

 

For easy peeling put them in cold water for a while then peel them.

· Chop the eggs into small pieces

Add finely chopped onion and half green pepper sprinkle some salt and black pepper.

Put in a generous amount of mayonnaise and mix well.

If needed add some vinegar or lemon juice to your preference.

Switch on your stove to medium heat and place a pan on top.

Spread margarine on 2 slices of bread.

On the side without the margarine put on the egg and mayo filling and cover with a piece of bread without margarine then fill another slice spread with margarine with egg and mayo and put on top to make it 3 slices of bread.

Sprinkle a bit of sugar top and toast.

Toast your bread on the buttered sides 2 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

You can toast them in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 3 to 4 minutes

 

Note: oven toasting will make it hard.
