Bulawayo-born creative Skhumz Moonwalker, who is renowned for his captivating impersonation of the late King of Pop, Michael Jackson, has paid tribute to the legendary entertainer, vowing to keep his legacy alive through music, dance and community outreach.
Moonwalker said beyond his unmatched artistry, Jackson’s compassion for children and commitment to spreading messages of love, peace and hope continue to inspire him.
He hopes to follow in the icon’s footsteps by performing for children and engaging in philanthropic initiatives, resources permitting.
“Michael Jackson’s legacy was built on promoting peace, love, kindness and hope. Those are the same values I choose to live by every day.

“Children hold a very special place in my heart. They inspire me, and I believe they are our future. Every smile, every dream and every opportunity we give them helps create a better tomorrow.
“As a Michael Jackson tribute artiste,, my dream is to perform more tribute shows for children and communities, sharing messages of love, unity and positivity through music and dance. The love and support I receive from young fans reminds me why this mission is so important,” said Moonwalker.

As part of his vision to give back to the community and expand his outreach to young audiences, Moonwalker appealed to well-wishers, sponsors and event organisers to support his initiatives.
“I am kindly reaching out to sponsors, promoters, event organisers and anyone who believes in this vision. Your support can help us bring these performances to more children and create unforgettable moments that inspire hope and happiness.
“Together, let’s heal the world and make it a safer, kinder and better place for every child. Thank you for believing in this dream. I love you all,” he said.
