Social soccer season reaches halfway mark

THE Bulawayo Social Soccer League (Bssl) teams will take a break this weekend after reaching its halfway mark.

However, according to the fixtures secretary Blessing Jonga all teams who have outstanding games will be in action so that they catch up with the rest.

“The fixtures secretary desk would like to thank you all for a wonderful season so far, some teams have reached the halfway mark and others will be reaching the halfway mark next week (today) on 9 July.  

“We will be taking a break and will resume our league games on 30 July, 2023,” said Jonga.

There are a number of events lined up according Jonga during the break.

He said the Founders’ Cup final set for Sizinda will be played on 16 July followed by a tournament set for 23 July whose details would be availed soon.
