The victory of the Iranian Islamic Revolution in 1979, was like an arrow to the body of the global imperialism system.
It is because of this revolution that Iran was transformed from an island protecting the interests of the colonial powers in the region into a symbol of freedom of oppressed nations in the world.
Agitated by this movement the arrogant system, using the wealth of some reactionary countries in the region, has always tried and prevents the increasing ideological and soft power of the Islamic Republic.
For the past two decades, social media and the global internet network have been used as a platform by Western governments to penetrate the civil societies of Islamic and developing countries with the aim of reducing the process of globalisation to the project of Americanisation.
After two successful experiences of the disintegration of the former Soviet and later in North Africa and the Middle East, these media have, alongside economic and political pressures, been involved in creating internal dissatisfaction about certain socio-cultural issues such as the hijab, the Islamic dressing Muslim women.
The tragic death of Mahsa Amini few months ago followed by the commotion, political leaders of the United States and some European countries, their media, and the West-backed hostile Persian-language media misused a tragic incident under investigation and spared no efforts in supporting rioters and disrupters of the nation’s security in the name of supporting the Iranian nation’s rights.
Her tragic death is being used just as pretext for a big project and conspiracy designed to incite a soft coup against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
A security camera video footage released by the Iranian police shows Amini in a situation without any trace of violence. She can be clearly seen getting up, heading to talk to another woman, and eventually losing consciousness.
She received medical aid and was taken away in an ambulance to the hospital where she dies after falling into a coma.
This is nowhere similar to the situation of the victims of American drones or those tortured in clandestine prisons or Guantanamo and Abu Ghraib or neither to the intentional targeting and killing of Sherin Abu Akleh a 51-year-old Al-Jazeera journalist who was wearing a helmet and protective vest marked with the word “press” this year by an apartheid Israel soldier in occupied West Bank.
No meaningful action was taken by the self-proclaimed champions of human rights.
The Western approach against the Islamic Republic and the Iranian nation has always been accompanied by hypocrisy and double standards. The US champions itself as a defender of women’s rights despite the hundreds of women represented as “collateral damage” from its drone, helicopter, and bomber fire in the Middle East and beyond.
According to Amnesty International report on ‘USA 2022, Violence against Women’, indigenous women continued to experience disproportionately high levels of rape and sexual violence and lacked access to basic post-rape care. Additionally, Indigenous women continued to experience high rates of disappearance and murder.
The exact number of indigenous women victims of violence or who went missing remained unknown as the US government did not collect data or adequately co-ordinate with tribal governments.
At least 1 055 people were reported killed by police using firearms in 2021, a slight increase from previous years.
The limited public data available from 2015 to 2021 suggested that black people were disproportionately impacted by police use of lethal force. The federal government’s programme to track how many such deaths occur annually remained unimplemented.
However, what the West has failed to realise is that it is impossible to uproot the tree of Islam — with a lifespan of about half a century — whose fruits have been transferred to the general public of Islamic society through the intellectual guidance provided by religious scholars and thinkers triggering awareness, consciousness, and determination in the Islamic nation of Iran.
America and its allies should learn from Ubuntu philosophy, that if you send your children to burn your neighbour’s house at the end they will burn your own house.
Today what your children have been doing in other countries is now happening in your backyard, Ukraine is burning! Beware.
