Spartans to field 50 swimmers at HAS Champs

SPARTANS Swimming Club coach Lindsy Tudor-Cole says they are ready for the Harare Amateur Swimming Senior Championships starting this week.

The provincial competition held over two consecutive weekends, begins this Friday with the first phase running until Sunday.

The meet concludes on the weekend of December 5 to 7.

Spartans coach Lindsy Tudor-Cole says they have been working on preparing their swimmers for the competition, and are hoping to field more than 50 swimmers.

“I think we are ready for the championships. We hope to do really well. Our kids have been training very hard,” said Tudor-Cole.

The championships will see more than 300m swimmers from Spartans, Vikings, Wild Orcas, Dorado, Sharks, Pirates, Harare Otters and Highlands taking part.
