THE Special Olympics Zimbabwe have named a provisional squad of 35 athletes to represent the country at the World Summer Games in Los Angeles, United States, next year.
The squad was selected after the Special Olympics Zimbabwe National Games at Prince Edward and the country will be represented in three disciplines – golf, seven-aside-soccer and athletics at next year’s World Summer Games in Los Angeles.
Head of delegation for Special Olympics Zimbabwe Viola Musariri was satisfied with the selection process which attracted eight provinces.

Golf Girls: Dadirai Jack, Tsitsi Maponga, Patience Mudarikwa.
Boys: Munyaradzi Musariri, Rodwell Mandibaya, Viren Metah,Farai Chimombe, Kudzanai Gomo, Michael Mangwende, Paul Mbiga.
7 Aside Soccer: Hamilton Mutema,Archibald Mutero, Criden Chikadzonga, Tinotenda Chisveta, Shimbarashe Shirikadzi, Tonderai Rusike, Tino Chipori, Allen Mapurisa, Tinotenda Muchingani, Tonderai Makoni, Tawana Nyamubarwa, Crispen Mangwende,Joseph Tiki.
Athletics Girls: Elizabeth Moyo,Nyasha Karima,Coleta Goto, Mercy Dube, Siphiwe Rambe,
Athletics Boys: Tafadzwa Mutasa, Israel Washari, Denzel Makayana, Vaclylov Nyamatope, Michael Mutema, Descent Mangachena.
