GOSPEL music lovers were treated to a memorable night of worship and powerful performances at the Harare International Convention Centre as top gospel musicians delivered a spirit-filled show during the Everywhere Tour concert.
Leading the charge was local gospel star Sharon Cherayi, who delivered a polished and electrifying performance that left the audience inspired.
The gospel diva showcased her musical prowess with powerful vocals, energetic dance moves and commanding stage presence.
The “Fara Iwe Moyo Wangu” hitmaker, who had earlier promised fans a memorable show, did not disappoint.
She pulled a shocker from her bag of talent by combining powerful lyrics, crowd charisma and strong vocal delivery which set the bar high for the evening’s performances.
Earlier, Minister Ellard Cherayi warmed up the audience with a spirited set before making way for his wife’s performance.
Gospel sensation Janet Manyowa also delivered a strong performance, reminding fans why she remains one of the country’s most celebrated contemporary gospel voices.
The celebrated gospel ensemble, The Unveiled and Josh Mtima, had the auditorium on its feet with their popular track “Zvichaita Chete”, igniting waves of singing and dancing across the venue.
The international flavour of the concert came through with American worship leader, Phil Thompson, widely known for his viral anthem ‘‘My Worship.’’
Thompson delivered a deeply moving performance.
Naomi Raine and Todd Galberth renowned for their soul-stirring melodies and heartfelt lyrics, also delivered a fine performance.
Their stage presence, infused with songs of hope resonated deeply with the audience, transporting them to a realm of spiritual euphoria.
Raine is widely celebrated for her powerful vocals and songwriting, particularly through her work with Maverick City Music, while Galberth is known globally for worship anthems that have resonated with churches and gospel audiences worldwide.
Raine made her debut with Maverick City Music in 2019, releasing two projects that year.
As of September 2022, they had released an additional 11 projects. As a member of Maverick City Music, Raine was a part of the “Welcome to Maverick City,” “Kingdom,” “The Maverick Way,” and “Good News” tours in the United States.
