SPRINT STORM BREWS IN HARARE! 13 Nations Confirm for One Track, One Region Showdown

A TRACK and field explosion is set to rock Harare as 12 Southern African countries and guest nation Nigeria have confirmed participation in the One Track, One Region athletics championships at the University of Zimbabwe on 26 and 27 July.

National Athletics Association of Zimbabwe (NAAZ) competitions director Manu Mpofu announced the green light on Friday.

“We are happy that all the countries have confirmed they are going to be participating, including Nigeria,” he said.

Team Zimbabwe’s head coach Phakamile Lisimati promised fireworks, revealing a powerful squad led by star runner Tendai Zimuto, who has already booked his place at the upcoming World Championships.

All eyes now turn to the capital as Africa’s fastest feet prepare to clash in a battle for bragging rights and records!
