SQUEAKY BUM TIME

CROAKY Harry Kane revealed he lost his voice singing Wonderwall in a hilarious post-match interview following England’s heroics against Mexico.

The Three Lions captain was celebrating a brilliant night after a 3-2 win at the Azteca.

Thomas Tuchel‘s side fought for 40 minutes with ten men after Jarell Quansah’s red card.

And in wild celebrations following the final whistle, the players and fans celebrated singing the iconic Oasis hit.

They were also spotted belting out Three Lions to the 3,000 travelling supporters. Kane then went to talk to the BBC following the heartfelt scenes.

And the Bayern Munich star squeaked his way through the interview, unable to talk.

He said: “My voice has gone. It was a crazy game, we had to fight. We had to find something. I’ve just been singing there, I can’t really talk.

“Everything was against us, we found a way. I’m speechless, I can’t even talk.”

Wonderwall has become the anthem of this World Cup for England and their supporters.

Fans were in hysterics at the interview, saying Kane sounded like Disney character Mickey Mouse.

One said on X: “Harry Mickey Mouse Kane.”

Another added: “Not Harry Kane turning into Mickey Mouse.”

A third joked: “90 mins at the Azteca Stadium and Harry Kane turned into Mickey Mouse.”

The wild post-game celebrations did come with some sadness, after Jordan Henderson was taken away on a stretcher.

The Brentford midfielder tried to leap over the advertising hoardings, but landed on his waist and needed medical attention.

He was given oxygen and is understood to have been taken to hospital.

“It’s quite a serious injury,” Thomas Tuchel later said.

Kane scored AGAIN during the fiery clash in Mexico City, in what turned out to be the winning penalty.

That his sixth goal of the World Cup, in what is turning into an astonishing race for the Golden Ball.

The victory was one of the greatest in England’s history, a backs-to-the wall, heroic display.

Jude Bellingham scored twice to put England 2-0 up, before Julian Quinones got one back before the break.

England then went down to 10 men, before Anthony Gordon was taken down for the penalty. Kane, 32, stepped up and fired the ball in the corner, giving them a two goal cushion.

The forward then gave away a penalty to Mexico while trying to help his team defend the lead. Raul Jimenez stuck the spot-kick away, but England held on to win 3-2.

The Three Lions next face Norway in the quarter-finals after Erling Haaland scored twice in a win over Brazil – Sun.
