STABBED OVER THE EX! Bar bloodbath as man accuses victim of bedding his former wife

THERE was mayhem at Farai Bar in Chiredzi after a man fatally stabbed another, accusing him of romping with his ex-wife.

Police say Walter Checha (44) lost his cool on 4 July 2025 and plunged a knife into Connilius Garawaziva (20)’s chest during a heated confrontation over the alleged affair.

“The suspect allegedly stabbed the victim once on the chest with a knife, accusing him of having an affair with his ex-wife,” said police on X.

Garawaziva collapsed in a pool of blood as bar patrons watched in horror. Checha was swiftly arrested by police following the deadly showdown.

Police have urged members of the public to seek peaceful resolutions in disputes involving relationships instead of resorting to violence.
