WORLD Fitness Federation Zimbabwe have upped preparations for the second edition of the Mr, Ms Queens and Kings which will be held in Harare this weekend.

The contest is scheduled for this Saturday at Zimbabwe College of Music.

IFFZ president Godwin Simbarashe Mhaka said everything was in place for the event.

“We will be hosting the second edition of the Mr and Ms Queens Fitness contest and preparations have been going on well. Everyone is ready. We have so many athletes who have confirmed their availability and I believe it is time we have more athletes coming on board.

“The contest is used as a world qualifier and we are hopeful we will have some representatives to take part on the world stage. There are many athletes who have confirmed that they will be part of the big day.

“We have managed to put everything in place and we can safely say we are 90 percent through with our preparations. The competition is making its second appearance and it is promising to be a tough contest in all categories,” said Mhaka. The second edition of the WFFZ contest has seen a lot of sponsors and partners coming on board, which Mhaka said was a welcome development. “We are very grateful that we have managed to organise the contest of this magnitude and it was not going to be easy without sponsors and partners.

“We have managed to secure several sponsors like Sebam Fuels, Nutrie-Foods, Queen Wealth, Royal djs, Continental Wire, Kuvimu Aggregates, Musabvunda, JL Fitness, Taff Industries, Pan Jap and Fitness for Her, among several others,” said Mhaka.
