Stanbic Bank Zimbabwe has invited applications for its 2026 merit-based scholarship programme aimed at supporting underprivileged but academically gifted Zimbabwean students.
The initiative targets citizens under the age of 21 who are set to pursue undergraduate studies at the National University of Science and Technology (NUST) for the August 2026 intake.
To qualify, applicants must have obtained at least 13 points from three Advanced Level subjects, demonstrating strong academic performance.
The scholarship provides comprehensive support throughout the duration of study, covering tuition fees, accommodation and meals. Beneficiaries will also receive a one-off laptop to assist with their academic work.
Prospective candidates are required to submit a NUST offer letter, certified copies of Ordinary and Advanced Level results, a birth certificate and national identity document. Applicants must also include a letter of motivation not exceeding 350 words, as well as a recommendation letter, preferably from their former school.
Stanbic Bank said all applications will be handled with strict confidentiality, adding that the programme is part of its commitment to investing in the country’s future workforce by ensuring that financial constraints do not hinder talented students.
