STRUGGLING Starbill are bracing for a tough tie against DStv Rangers at Old Hararians in the Northern Region Division One Soccer League.
The championship race enters Week 20 today and, for the seasoned campaigners, it’s high time they put their act together if they want to survive relegation.
Starbill are sitting at the bottom of the table with 12 points and have just one win from 19 matches.
They have nine draws and nine defeats.
Starbill coach, Wilson Mutekede, who has been in charge of the team for the past three games, said they are starting to notice some improvements.
“When I came in there were quite a number of things that we needed to work on. Firstly it was the mentality of the players.
“But we are happy there seems to be changes now. We have played two draws and there are a lot of positives.
“We are aware we do not have much time but we will try to make the best of the time that we have.
“We are playing a team that has been doing well. DStv are a good side and a very competitive side.
“We are a team that is in development and we are trying to get results. Our approach to the game is we will try to be as positive as we can.
“Yes we want points but I believe in fullness of time things will work out, when the time comes we will get the results,” said Mutekede.
