A STEPFATHER has been arrested for allegedly raping a 12-year-old girl on several occasions.
Privilege Bangure, 28, was alleged to have been threatening the minor with death if she ever disclosed the rape to anyone.
He allegedly raped her whenever her mother was away.
He started by requesting for hugs from the minor.
Privilege then took the abuse to another level by fondling her breasts and inserting his fingers into her private parts.
On Tuesday, the minor informed her mother’s sister, leading to Privilege’s arrest.
Harare provincial police spokesperson, Inspector Luckmore Chakanza, confirmed the arrest.
“Police arrested an Epworth man for raping his wife’s daughter.
“The complainant was referred to Edith Hospital for medical examinations.”
