Stunner in court for assaulting daughter’s friend

Musician Desmond Chideme (Stunner) has appeared at Mbare magistrates courts facing allegations of assaulting his daughter’s nine-year-old friend.
Chideme, who was being represented by Dumisani Mtombeni, appeared before Mbare magistrate Batsirai Zishiri facing assault charges.

The court heard that on August 25, Chideme’s daughter was playing with her friend and the two were chasing each other.

It is alleged that Chideme’s daughter fell and started crying. Chideme came and started assaulting the minor.

He allegedly pulled out the minor’s braids during the assault. The complainant reported the matter to the police leading to Chideme’s arrest.

The matter was remanded to September 12 for trial commencement.
