Suicide bombers killed in twin attacks

bombYAOUNDE. – Two suicide bombers died in twin attacks that were reported yesterday morning at a school in the northern Cameroonian town of Kerawa, a local official said.

Without giving details of any civilian casualties, the official revealed that an unknown number of people were injured in the attacks at the school that has been hosting Nigerian refugees.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attacks, it is believed Nigerian terrorist group Boko Haram, which has been behind a recent spate of violence in the same region, could be responsible.

Boko Haram has launched intensified attacks in Cameroon’s Far North region, with the most recent attack in the same region claiming over 30 lives and leaving 66 others injured. – Xinhua.
