adminCape Town — Mamelodi Sundowns defender Wayne Arendse believes that keeping a clean sheet at home is key to the club’s chances of winning the CAF Champions League final against Zamalek.
Sundowns face Egypt’s White Knights today at Lucas Moripe Stadium in the first leg, and will no doubt look to stop the visitors from taking any valuable away goals back to Giza. Nonetheless, shutting out an away side that scored six goals in a semi-final victory over Wydad Casablanca is the target that Arendse wants his team to aim for.
He told the PSL’s official website: “We have to ensure we keep it tight and keep a clean sheet at home so that they don’t have an away goal. That takes the pressure off the team.” — Sport24
