Sunny Yi Feng Tiles Zimbabwe, the giant manufacturer and exporter of tiles and associated products, is celebrating being a diamond sponsor of the Zimpapers Cancer Power Walk.
“This is the third time in a row that we have taken part in the Cancer Power Walk. The partnership comes after the realisation that cancer is a non-communicable disease, and communication plays a pivotal role in curbing the knowledge gap on the disease.
“Corporates should play a leading role in supporting such initiatives through resource mobilisation and sponsorships.
“We say kudos to Zimpapers for hosting the annual Cancer Power Walk and we encourage more people to register and take part in this event.
“It is also important for us to mention that cancer awareness is everyone’s role and it is something that should be done all year round and not on selected days of the calendar. Anyone can be a victim; hence everyone should spread awareness about cancer.
“We encourage other entities to take part and sponsor the Zimpapers Cancer Powerwalk and increase awareness.”
