Switch lenses to see a way out

Pauline Matanda

“BY faith, Enoch was taken from this life so that he could not experience death: ‘He could not be found, because God had taken him away.’ For before he was taken, he was commended as one who pleased God.

“And it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.” — Hebrews 11:5-6.

Do you want to please God?

Walk by faith and put your confidence in Him.

See with the eyes of faith.

This way, the likes of Enoch and Abraham became God’s friends.

This is how you earn favour in God’s eyes.

In fact, your faith is credited to you as righteousness.

Hebrews 11:2 says: “Through their faith, the people in days of old earned a good reputation.”

We have to keep our eyes on the invisible One, as Moses did.

“It was by faith that Moses left the land of Egypt, not fearing the king’s anger. He kept right on going because he kept his eyes on the One who is invisible.” — Hebrews 11:27.

Keep going. Keep your eyes on His Word.

Learn to see with eyes of faith and speak with faith.

When you look with physical eyes, certain situations appear really bad and almost unsalvageable.

But when you switch lenses and look with eyes of faith, you will see a way out.

There is a way out.

Close your physical eyes and open your spiritual eyes.
