Table tennis back in Mash East

training stint at Old Windsor School in Ruwa.
The ZTTU, who are on a rebuilding exercise, also re-launched the Old Windsor Table Tennis Academy.
The participants were drawn from Mashonaland East schools, mainly from Marondera.
Mashonaland East became the third province to reintroduce table tennis after Mashonaland West and Harare.
The Mashonaland East provincial director, Emanuel Kanegoni, said the training programme was a success.
“We had an overwhelming response from this province considering that we had participants from schools like Peterhouse, among others.
“The coaches who walked away with Level One coaching certificates will also help in forming clubs, which will be helpful in grassroots development of the sport,” Kanengoni said.
Kanengoni took time to praise Old Windsor School director Ken Tsar for his contributions to the success of the training programme.
