UP-AND-COMING model Tahanha Ndlovu has taken a significant step in her modelling career after being crowned the inaugural Miss Royalty Queen at a pageant held at Luveve Hall in Bulawayo on Saturday.
The competition, founded by Wesley Gandary through the Vision Arts Foundation, seeks to empower women in the modelling industry while creating platforms for emerging talent to showcase their potential.

Although nine contestants were initially expected to compete, only six made it to the final stage, where they battled for the coveted crown.
Ndlovu emerged victorious, impressing both judges and the audience with her poise, confidence and stage presence. She was followed by Alindah Ncube, who was crowned first princess, while Lubelihle Sibanda and Abigail M Nkomo were named second and third princesses respectively.
In the special awards category, Nomaqhawe Ncube walked away with the Miss Personality title, while Sibonile B Sibanda won the People’s Choice Award after receiving the highest number of votes from spectators.
The judging panel comprised Khaya Pardon, Happy Mpofu, Fiona Ndlovu, Takina Machona and Mrs Khanye, who assessed contestants on various aspects of modelling, including confidence, presentation and overall performance. – Follow on X: @mthabisi_mthire
