South Africa-based gospel musician Takesure Zamar Ncube has announced gospel singer and minister Everton Mlalazi as one of the guest ministers for the highly anticipated One Sound – The Roar of Many Waters event, scheduled for August 14 in Harare.
The announcement comes shortly after Ncube joined a host of distinguished guests at the second edition of Mlalazi’s Ekhaya Worship Festival, held in Bulawayo last month. The event attracted thousands of worshippers from the City of Kings and beyond.
The spirit of brotherhood and worship continues to strengthen between the two gospel artistes, with Ncube expected to draw even more gospel music followers to his upcoming event.
Confirming Mlalazi’s participation, Ncube expressed his excitement and appreciation.
“It is with great honour and gratitude that I welcome my brother, Everton Mlalazi, as a guest minister at One Sound – The Roar of Many Waters.
“Mlalazi has become one of the most influential voices in gospel music across Africa. Yet, beyond the accolades, he remains a man committed to leading people back to the Cross through Christ-centred worship and music.
“We are truly honoured to have him stand with us at One Sound. We cannot wait to worship together,” said Ncube.
Ncube and Mlalazi have previously collaborated on the song Zuvarangu, which features on Mlalazi’s album In The Presence 3: Great God.
Meanwhile, other guests who will minister at the event include Ncube’s spiritual father and mentor Bishop Dr. Collins Nyathi, Nyasha Mutonhori Nyaparami, as well as a number of gospel artistes Minister Micheal Mahendere, Janet Manyowa, Joyful Praise Choir, Minister Ellard and Sharon Cherayi, and The Unveiled, to mention a few.
