Mr Jerifanos Musara was ecstatic and could not hide his joy after he won the grand prize and hailed Baker’s Inn for introducing the promotion.

He said his girlfriend, Ms Rejoice Mandishona who also won a Honda Fit in 2015 in the same competition motivated him to enter into the Buy and Win Promotion.

He said he had never won in any competition that he participated in and commended the company for being fair and transparent.

“I got shocked when I received a phone call from Star FM people telling me that I had won while relaxing at home in Runyararo West. I rushed to town to receive my prize but little did I know that I was going to win the grand prize — a Mercedes Benz for that matter. This is my first time to win something in a competition but my girlfriend, Ms Mandishona won a Honda Fit in 2015 in the same promotion,” said Mr Musara.

He said he would keep the car saying it was a gift from God that he should show his family members.

“I now believe that these competitions are very fair as I do not know anyone. It is a matter of chance and the passion to compete. I could not buy a car, worse still a Mercedes Benz with my salary but the gods have smiled on me. I will show this gift to my family as I believe it’s a gift from God,” he said.
Baker’s Inn managing director southern region Mr Felix Vhazhure said the company was concentrating on quality apart from quantity for customers to keep buying their products.

He said the company was giving back to the community through promotions where customers win prestigious prizes.
