Teenage Hadebe American salary revealed

Teenage Hadebe will remain with earnings that keep him above the R1 million cap per month until at least the end of 2025.

Hadebe, formerly with Kaizer Chiefs, where he spent two years, is into his second Major League Soccer club FC Cincinnati after previously being with Houston Dynamo.

The earnings of all players with MLS contracts is public information, which is regularly updated and categorised as current annual base salary and annual average guaranteed compensation.

Hadebe’s numbers in his MLS contract read USD704 952 (approx. R12,8 million) per annum as his base salary.

The Zimbabwe international then moves up to USD854 952 (approx. R15,5 million) per annum as his guaranteed compensation, which includes marketing bonus and any agent fees.

However, this figure does not include performance bonuses, just like it doesn’t include any contracts with individual teams or their affiliates.

Hadebe’s earnings place him way above what the highest earners in the Betway Premiership get.

The lanky defender is amongst the top 10 earners at Cincinnati, where Argentine midfielder Luciano Acosta is the top earner at USD4,2 million (approx. R76 million) per annum.

As expected, Lionel Messi rules with earnings of USD20,4 million (approx. R368 million) per annum. – (@KickOff)
