Tenax plot Chicken roast

TENAX coach, Shadreck “Father” Mugurasave, says his boys are ready to take on Chicken Inn on Sun-day in a Castle Lager Premiership match.

Speaking to H-Metro he said,

“I expect a good performance from my boys as we have been preparing well for this fixture.

“We were trying to sharpen the boys in front of the goal for us to utilise the chances that shall come our way.

“We have no inferiority among ourselves, both teams are coming from a defeat.

“We also have the hunger to change our fortunes and we are vying for the best possible result.

“There is much at stake for both teams so it should be an open game.”

He added:

“We are bracing ourselves for the challenge and to see if we can’t get something positive for ourselves.

“I am quite sure if the boys commit themselves, and concentrate entirely on the game, we will have something to cheer for at the end of the game.

“Chicken inn are in the title race and will be seeking to close down the gap between them and Platinum.

“They are likely to come at us all guns blazing, in search of a win, but we will try to find a way to get a positive result as we also are at the bottom and we want to avoid the drop.”

“Practically the game means a lot to both the teams involved in this contest. We are fighting to get away from the bottom. In the position we are at, every point counts and we would like to collect maximum points as much as possible.

“Our camp morale is high and there is competition amongst our boys as they want to play a part in our quest for survival. The good thing is all our players are available for selection and that’s good news for us.

Tenax have only managed to win only one game in their last five matches losing the other four and are on 17 points.

Chicken Inn have three wins, one draw, and one loss in their last five games and they are in the second position with 38 points.
