ZIMBABWEAN drivers have become accustomed to the familiar sight of Toyota Hilux and Ford Ranger pickups dominating our roads.
However, the recent unveiling of the Tesla Cybertruck has sparked a question that lingers in my mind: Could this futuristic electric vehicle (EV) ever grace Zimbabwe’s roads?
While the concept might seem far-fetched at first glance, the Cybertruck’s arrival marks a turning point in the automotive landscape.
Initially planned for production in 2022, the truck has finally arrived, challenging the conventional norms of the pickup industry.
For decades, the design and engineering of pickups have remained relatively stagnant.
