ZIMBABWEAN musician Shone says being part of Coldplay’s record-breaking Music of the Spheres Tour 2025 leg was a fairytale and something that he had been praying for.
Shone joined the tour in the Gulf, played at mega shows in India and was part of the cast for the closing act in the United Kingdom.
“Coldplay Music Of Spheres Tour has come to an end and thank you so much to Elyanna for having an amazing energy and angelic vocals whenever we were on stage when we performed ‘WE PRAY’ I am definitely going to miss you and your crew.”
Shone said the experience has been a fairytale.
“Sharing the stage with Coldplay for ‘We Pray’ is what I prayed for,” he said.
During this tour, Shone has performed before Argentine football superstar Lionel Messi and even shot his first video in India with Coldplay.
Shone has been playing alongside DJ Tatenda LXA.
DJ Tatenda LXA has previously been part of Afro Nation and Legendary Music and is currently a resident producer at Roman Raps.
He has collaborated with prominent artists such as Bagga, Kikky Bad***, and Crooger, bringing a wealth of experience to the stage.
The British super group has played before more than 12 million fans across 43 countries.
The tour started in March 2022 and rolled through venues across Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand.
It is the highest attended tour in history.
During the penultimate Wembley concert, frontman Chris Martin revealed that the ‘Music Of The Spheres’ tour is far from over.
“This tour has 138 more shows to go,” he told the crowd.
This will bring the total number of performances to 360, fitting perfectly with the tour’s celestial theme.
“We have a break coming up, and we’ll announce the shows for 2027 soon. But we only have two more this year, and then we’re gonna go and make this really special thing that we’ve been making for years and years, and it’s really good.
“I’m telling you that because I want to tell you something I haven’t told anybody else. That’s what it is, OK?”
The Music of the Spheres Tour has attracted over 12.3 million fans worldwide.
Since the tour started, Coldplay have been changing their supporting acts at regular intervals.
American singer H.E.R. opened the show in San Jose and was used more than any other artist in that early part of the tour.
