The anointing to serve God

One thing makes the difference in life, that thing is the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. You don’t see it, you don’t touch it; yet it’s very real and very distinct. You can’t really do much in life without it. All men in the Bible who did exploits, had this one thing – especially the anointing to serve God, the priestly anointing. With this anointing you can live life victoriously and fulfil your purpose in God. Read on and discover how it can change and shift your life for the better; the priestly anointing Leviticus 14:17-18, Exodus 28:14,41.

‘“And of the rest of the oil in his hand, the priest shall put some of the tip of the right ear of him who is to be cleansed, on the thumb of the right hand, and on the big toe of the right foot, on the blood of the trespass offering. The rest of the oil that is in the priests hand he shall put on the head of him who is to be cleansed. So the priest shall make atonement for him before the Lord.” (Leviticus 14:17-18). The foundation in living life victoriously is the lepers anointing.

This is the kind of anointing from God that pulls you from the hold and power of sin, defilement and all that follows your life to pull it down. In old times us, Africans were among the people who were recognised as “dogs” Gentiles, or outcasts in the Bible. We were not considered. But glory to God due to the lepers anointing; it washed us and cleaned us to be able to stand before the Lord without blemish.

It is called lepers anointing because it was used to anoint people who were afflicted with leprosy, a deadly disease that resulted in isolation since it was contagious and deadly. When walking in the streets a leper was required to give a warning that he is coming. He would shout, “Unclean, unclean, unclean”, in order for other people to quickly get out of the way and not be contaminated with the leprosy. It was a terrible and secluded life, friends. But thank God for Jesus, he came to heal and cleanse the lepers with the lepers anointing.

At one point he met 10 lepers and cleansed them all. Have you been struggling with sin, a destructive habit or an issue in your life? Dying but still struggling to leave smoking as you were instructed by the doctors? I have a good word for you, friend, allow the lepers anointing to cleanse you as you read this article. With this foundational anointing, you can and will walk in victory, holiness and purity. You can do it. It can be done. Don’t quickly give up, function in the lepers anointing!

From there you now need to serve God. And the anointing you need to function in after being cleansed by the lepers anointing is the priestly anointing. It is this special anointing that equips you to serve God. It empowers you. Aaron’s sons were anointed with the priestly anointing. It enabled them to serve God.

Ever wanted to serve God with all of your heart but didn’t know how? Here is the answer brother; here is the key, sister – the priestly anointing. Not all are pastors but all can be ministers. You can do something in God’s house. You can usher, arrange chairs, clean, sing in the choir or do much in God’s kingdom. You can even heal the sick, cast our devils and preach the gospel. You can do it.

Don’t just be like the seven sons of Sceva who went to pray for a possessed person without being equipped for service. They were overpowered, beaten and left the house naked after being attacked by the evil spirit in the person.

Priestly anointing will give you boldness. You will be bold to preach the gospel and talk about Jesus. Every believer needs this anointing. It’s a powerful anointing. Wherever I go, I have made it a principle to talk to people around me about Jesus and invite them to church. Even at a service station, if I just get an opportunity I talk to the attendants about Jesus and invite them to church.

With this anointing all fear goes, you become emboldened. I remember in one of my preaching missions in a neighbouring country to Zimbabwe, after preaching powerfully by the grace of God much deliverance took place and many devils were cast out. Little did we know we had started war?

In the night, I entered my room, and locked the door to rest. But something strange happened. I had long left the door but still the key holder continued moving, making a sound. I knew immediately that something was taking place spiritually and after me! I didn’t fear or shake, No!

I was equipped with the priestly anointing, I just said, “Aaa I am not afraid of you in Jesus name” and went to bed. That was the last time, it never came back again. Oo hallelujah, priestly anointing! Living in a haunted house or workplace with a heavy atmosphere? Be equipped with the priestly anointing today in Jesus name.
