The benefits of Christmas

It’s that time of the year again when we rejoice and celebrate the gift of God, to all humanity, the birth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
It’s the time when man all over the world celebrate and enjoy as individuals, families and communities. But what really is Christmas, its meaning and benefits to us as humanity or is it just one of the holidays?
This article is for you.

Read on and discover how “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life” (John 3:16).

Many over the years, have enjoyed Christmas just as a holiday without pausing to think or reflect on the expression of God’s love and message.

There are multiple blessings and benefits of being in a relationship with God.
Read on and discover how you can tap into the benefits of Christmas and how the ultimate decision of being a child of God can actually change your life, health, finances, family and all your being this Christmas!

The Psalmist sets the pace for us in his writing “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits” (Psalm 103.3).
God has allowed us, to have a taste of heaven whilst still here on earth. You do not have to wait for heaven in order to enjoy benefits that come with being a child of God.

But this would not be possible unless and until God sent his only Son, Jesus. When he came, He came with the benefits in Him, reconciling the world to God. And what are some of those benefits?

He continues, “Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness and tender mercies; Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle’s.”
This is clear; in God you have forgiveness of sins, healing of all diseases and infirmities, redemption of your life from destruction, the loving-kindness of God follows you and rejuvenation of all areas of your life.

On forgiveness, it is the greatest gift for no man can have eternal life without being forgiven sins by the Lord Jesus.
Without Jesus coming and a lifetime decision of being a child of God you have no forgiveness of sins for it can only be found in Jesus. Therefore rejoice if you are a child of God, for you are included in the benefit of forgiveness of your sins through the precious blood of the Lamb.

If you are not born again or not sure about your relationship with God or your sins, God has you in mind this Christmas and is ready to forgive you. Christmas is not a time to flee from God and go rampant, No, No, No.

This is your hour, this is your time, time to shake yourself and say “my time to encounter with God and to live for Him is now!” Believe in God and pray out the prayer of salvation below, at the end of the article. If you have just prayed it and meant it from your heart, Good News! You are saved and have received the benefit of forgiveness – forgiveness of your sins, all your sins. O hallelujah!
Another great blessing of Christmas that came wrapped in Jesus; is the benefit of divine health.

“By his (Jesus) stripes ye were healed” (Isaiah 53:5).
Healing is provided for to every child of God and even called “children’s bread” meaning it’s an everyday thing and very accessible to children of God, just like bread! Are you sick and afflicted in your body during this time; diagnosed with a critical condition? I challenge you today, just like on forgiveness of sins; believe God for your healing. It is your benefit.

You could be wondering but what about me, I just got saved earlier on, can I also be healed! Yes you can — the power of God can even flow through these pages as you read and leave healing in your body. Take it in Jesus’ name.

“Who redeemeth thy life from destruction…” Have you been told “This Christmas you will not see it or eat it?” (Hauidyi Christmas gore rino!) by anyone?

And you are so afraid, wondering how you are going to survive? Have you been told you will not stay on that job; not hold that baby; not stay in your marriage; not stay in your house and all kind of threats from the enemy and those who have a record on charms and juju and now you are wondering what now?

Take heart, cheer up!
You will enjoy your Christmas and the rest of the festive season! How?
There is a benefit of redemption from evil and divine protection in God. It’s a benefit. The angels of God are watching you. Let every plan of the enemy be broken right now. Enjoy the benefit of redemption and divine protection from the Lord.
Your house, family, job, plans, properties and businesses, be covered by the blood of Jesus.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper! Don’t fear, No, No, No!
The loving-kindness and the mercies of God also follow your life as part of His benefits in Jesus. He fights for you, he defends you. Just as earthly insurance policies cover their members, you as a child of God are covered and have God’s loving-kindness upon your life and like the Psalmist you would rightly say, “Surely goodness and mercy, shall follow me, all the days of my life” (Psalms 23:6).

Apart from the Lord satisfying your life with precious and good things like, joy, peace, wisdom, understanding, properties, your heart’s desire and all when you are in Jesus “thy youth is renewed like an eagles” (Psalm 103:5). All you do keeps being renewed and rejuvenated of the Lord and given new strength. Have you been married for a few years and already its wearing down?

You are in business but stocks seem stuck, nothing moving? Family tearing apart; workplace in turmoil and finances sinking?
I have a good word for you during this festive season — He (God) renews and rejuvenates all that is in your life. Receive new strength to go on, in your marriage, in your business, in your family, in your finances and even in your mind and emotional life, O yes you can have fresh strength, it’s a benefit in our dear God.
