BISHOP T D Jakes defines the blessing as the uncanny innate ability to succeed over adversity. He says “uncanny” because the blessing operates as such, it enables you to prosper when everyone around you is experiencing hardships. It will not make sense to your family members, your enemies and your associates.
Zechariah 4:6
So he answered and said to me: “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts.” (NKJV)
God’s blessing is wonderful and unlimited goodness that only He has the power to know about and give to us. This is a blessing that has no sorrow or pain added to it. You will be throwing yourself entirely into the river of His will, great power and purpose. You will be absorbed and overwhelmed by Him under, above, around and all over you with His grace. Your life will be marked by miracles.
Believers must understand that God’s will is to bless us, He loves to bless us. His nature is to bless while the devil’s nature is to curse. Jesus came to give us an abundant life.
John 10:10
“The thief does not come except to steal and to kill and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.” (NKJV)
It is the way we give that limits God’s bounty, not His resources or willingness to give. He desires to bless you because that is His character and personality. When you have the blessing of God upon your life, no demon or evil power will be able to stop God’s plan for you, they will all bow down. Your generational curses are turned into future contagious blessings that you perpetuate to your children.
Even those who knew you before will see the breakthroughs in your life, family, faith, finances and wonder what really happened to you. Your life will be rescued from the tormentor and will stay under the sweet refuge and dwelling of your mentor Jesus Christ. Your life will move forward and you will be surpassed by His peace. Great productivity, results and success will follow you.
