The return of Big Brother

It is the weekend again and ya’ll know what that means, yeah? Yet another edition of the Cool Lifestyle to give you the latest on what is keeping the world of teens abuzz.
So the Big Brother buzz is on again this year after weeks of speculation on the housemates. Despite the infamous fire incident that gutted the original house, a date has been set for the kick-off and those who are crazy about Africa’s biggest reality show will be kept busy in the 91 days of drama, and everything else that makes up Big Brother Africa.

On a party note, we all love a good party, don’t we?
It is for that reason that some of us are quick to flock to stadiums for shows especially those that feature foreign artistes.
A lot of youths from different parts of the city made up a sizeable number of the crowd that showed up for the rising Jamaican star Kalado show last weekend.
The sad part however was the missile throwing on stage from the crowd.

We support a number of youths who have taken to social media to express their disgust over the rowdy behaviour.
These comments came through from Facebook: Jackson Jay Msumba “lol bt on th real tho,  Zim pple gotta stop this can throwin shiid it takes a lotta nerve to gett upp deh, Kalado aint that bad, vachatidzingira maartistes,”

Milton Tonderai Marumbe “thats bad zvinoitwa nematsaga anoswera pamabridge hakuna skiri yakadaro why do u hav to throw cans @ an artiste lyk Kalado kana artiste achibhohwa jus leave lef and go hme, woti kuchikoro mateacha waitema nematombo ne ma artist wotema futi haa ndo last numba yema dofo, nuff respect to Kalado.” Jellzy Mr do it for the ladies Sod “Hahaha ipapo mune point mkma, ppl wthout brainx, knwldg and undstandn ndovanodaro, nw bad thangz international artistes wont kum to zim sayn weViolent”

We are adding our voice to these youths. Violence is an ultimate No. we condemn it to the last degree. Like what the youths said, if you think the show is a big bore just march back to your crib

And back to business. Last week we were drooling over the introduction of Apple gadgets, the Apple watch, Iphone 6 and Iphone 6 plus. While some might love these babies for prestige we thought of pointing out a number of mobile applications that can be super useful to your studies and make life in school a lot easier
In previous weeks, we have highlighted the cool apps but here are the useful ones:

Google maps
This application is essential in your geography lessons and others that require you to know locations.
Social applications (Whatsapp and Viber)

These social applications are popular for socialising but did you know that you could have group studies and educational discussions using them? It is a plus that you can broadcast graphs and pictures to aid your discussions. How cool is that?

Memo
This is more of a day or weekly planners. In the spirit of being organised you could make a study time table in the application with alarms set at specific intervals.

Music player/play books
Now I think this is by far the most useful application that can help a great deal in passing your studies. With the help of Audio Converting software, y
ou can convert your text files into audio. Oh yes you can and the slice on the cake, you spend hours listening to tutorials and information from textbooks anywhere anytime If you think you got more genius ideas on how to use gadgets to your advantage then drop us your mail!
