The return of Donald Ngoma

of the most feared players in the country. He came in a substitute last weekend and he is looking forward to have more game time in the next coming matches.
“I am going to score more goals as we still have a lot of games to play. I believe in myself and I am working very hard to achieve my goal and that is landing the Golden Boot,” said Ngoma.
“If I am given a chance to play I will score and I had four months of torture as watching football from the terraces was painful.
“I want to thank the Lord that I have healed and I am looking forward to the action.
“I also feel that I might have played a huge part against Guinea and Mozambique for my country but Iam happy that we managed to go to the next round of the Nations Cup.”
The FC Platinum technical team is also happy that Ngoma is back.
“We are glad that Donald is back. He is a very good player who is currently working very hard but we are not going to rush him into the team,” said assistant coach, Tendai Chikuni.
“It is very good for our club as competition is now rife and I am happy that everyone is scoring.
“We are playing as a unit and not individuals and we hope the spirit will continue.”
Ngoma was injured when he clashed with Hwange defender David Boriwondo in the Bob 88 Super Cup final.
Ngoma scored seven goals last season and also made an impact in the national colours, scoring a brace against Tanzania and Djibouti in the Cecafa Senior Chmpionships.
Ngoma also hailed his FC Platinum teammate, Nelson Mazivise, who is on loan at Shabanie and leads the scoring charts in the Premiership. I am happy for my friend Nelson, he has vastly improved and I want him to keep scoring as it is motivating me,” said Ngoma.
“I now have more hunger than before and I want to tell my fans that the moment they see me getting onto the pitch they have to know that I will be going to hit the back of the net.”
