NGEZI Platinum Stars FC and their head coach Takesure Chiragwi have been summoned to a disciplinary hearing after a incident-packed clash with Dynamos at Rufaro Stadium on 4 October.
The Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) has summoned both club and coach to appear before its Disciplinary Committee following shocking incidents during the match.
Chiragwi is charged with violent and disorderly conduct and improper behaviour likely to bring football into disrepute. The Ngezi coach lost his temper and slapped his own player, McDonald Makuwe, after a disputed equaliser by DeMbare.
Ngezi Platinum Stars also face charges for disturbing the normal flow of the match and improper conduct by the technical team and players.
The disciplinary hearing has been set for Tuesday 28 October at 17:30hrs at the PSL offices.
Fans and pundits are bracing for a dramatic showdown as the league clamps down on on-field chaos.
