The two natures of Jesus Christ

seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth” (John 1:1, 14).
Let me share four flagship statements a Christian must know in order to have firm grasp of the complete biblical picture of the person of Jesus Christ:
l Jesus Christ is fully and completely divine.
l Jesus Christ is fully and completely human.
l The divine and human natures of Christ are distinct.
l The divine and human natures of Christ are completely united in one person.
As far as I am concerned, Jesus is the most important person who has ever lived since he is the Saviour, God in human flesh. He is not half God and half man. He is fully divine and fully humanity. Let me be direct here, Jesus has two distinct natures: divine and human. Jesus is the Word who was God and was with God and was made flesh (John 1:1,14).
Realistically, this means that in the single person of Jesus he has both human and divine nature, God and man. The divine nature was not changed when the Word became flesh (John 1:1,14).
Instead, the Word was joined with humanity (Col. 2:9). Jesus’ divine nature was not changed. Also, Jesus is not merely a man who “had God within Him” nor is he a man who “manifested the God principle”. He is God in flesh, second person of the Godhead.
“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word,” (Heb. 1:3). Jesus’ two natures are not “mixed together,” nor are they combined into a new God-man nature. They are separate yet act as a unit in the one person of Jesus.
Let me share the following characteristics that show the two natures of Jesus.
Jesus is God Man. He is worshipped (Matt. 2:2,11; 14:33).He worshipped the Father (John 17). He was called God (John 20:28; Heb. 1:8). He was called man (Mark 15:39; John 19:5). He was called Son of God (Mark 1:1). He was called Son of Man (John 9:35-37). He is prayed to (Acts 7:59). He prayed to the Father (John 17).
He is sinless (1 Pet. 2:22; Heb. 4:15). He was tempted (Matt. 4:1). He knows all things (John 21:17). He grew in wisdom (Luke 2:52).He gives eternal life (John 10:28). He died (Rom. 5:8). All the fullness of deity dwells in Him (Col. 2:9). He has a body of flesh and bones (Luke 24:39).
Contemporary Christians have to tap into the humane and divine nature of Jesus to navigate the cares of life.
I have noted with gratification the demonstration of the power of the person of Jesus during deliverance ministrations with Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa our father in the Lord in United Family International Church (UFIC).
When he mounts the pulpit, Prophet Makandiwa gives Jesus Glory. Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Give Him glory he says. When doing deliverance and healing sessions, Prophet Makandiwa urges those seeking help to look up to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
If you look at me and pin your hopes on me, you will miss it, look up to Jesus; he entreats his members and partners.
Prophet Makandiwa likens the power of the person of Jesus to a blank cheque.
Every situation that Christian face, can be a blank cheque that requires the concerned person to fill it with what he or she wants. Our Father in the Lord went on to share the idiosyncrasies of a pregnant woman.
A pregnant woman can get any food item she wants when pregnant at any time from a caring husband. If the pregnant wife demands a coke at midnight, a caring husband will fetch that coke drink for her at any cost.
This is done in the name of pregnancy and love. However, a child born out of this pregnancy cannot demand coke at midnight and get it. That child has no powerful name to lean on.
If somebody comes from an office of a higher up with a letter, they are bound to receive preferential treatment because they are using a name that is recognised.
We as the Body of Christ can cash on the name of Jesus wherever we go and in whatever we want.
If the name of the person of Jesus is used properly, desirable results are reaped. Jesus Christ is the rock that never fails, in whom we Christians hide and have His power. (Isaiah 28:16).
The Bible reminds Christians in Isaiah 59:19 that if the enemy comes like a flood, the Lord will lift up a standard.
The Hebrew meaning of Standard is the he will put brakes on the enemy and execrates you. Besides this, the Bible tells us in Luke 1:37 that there is nothing impossible before God.  This means that the word of God is not devoid of power.  In other words, the word of God has power.
The time has come for Christians to tap into divine words for supernatural results using the name of Jesus. “Every knee shall bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.(Phil 2:10).
The word of God has power to create what you want and is .a seed that carries the power and potential to be something positively different.
Just like in the beginning, God spoke, let there be light and there was light. Prophet Makandiwa in his sermon “A True Worshipper” urged the Body of Christ to embrace Matthew 6:33, “seek ye first the kingdom of God and all these other things will be added to you.”
When a Christian starts speaking divine words, the power of God will come to their lives and transform their lives.
The best gift Heaven ever offered humanity was Jesus Christ of Nazareth. The same spirit that worked in Jesus will work in you who believe in Him. Jesus even said the works that I do shall you do also and even greater works.
It is important that as Christians we embrace Jesus’ plea that if He is lifted up, He will draw man to himself.
Let me share what I have seen happening in UFIC through the anointed hands of Prophet Makandiwa: He heals the sick, makes the crippled walk, the barren women have conceived and delivered babies, the unproductive have been restored, the demon possessed have been delivered through the powerful name of Jesus.
I have also seen wisdom being restored, anointing received and favour coming to many people through the powerful name of Jesus. I just wonder why people are being offended by Prophet Makandiwa. By refusing the one whom the Lord Jesus has sent, they are actually refusing Jesus Himself the Sender. In some Christian circles, some so-called pastors are no longer preaching the person and the principles of Jesus, the devil gave them the evil gospel of preaching against the anointed man of God.
I personally thank God for Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa who is leading us at UFIC by example and also other great men of God in our nation who are  preaching and exalting the person and the principles of Jesus in their pulpits.
Anti-Makandiwa gospel does not cause the fire of God to come down and touch any pulpit and heal the sick, only the name of Jesus can.
