Your Vision
Vision is the ability to close your eyes and imagine a future not yet in existence. It is the ability to see beyond the mess that may be in front of you and hope for a better future that doesn’t exist yet.
A learner should have a vision, and after writing down a vision a learner must strategise on how he or she is going to fulfil this vision. The learner should start working on the vision, and this means reading, revising and going an extra mile so that come examination time success is guaranteed. So a learner might design a vision statement that he/she is going to follow. This vision will direct the learner in everything that he/she does. This means a learner should be disciplined and strictly follow the vision despite the circumstances that might arise. When others are playing, a visionary will be focusing, while others are into relationships a visionary will be patient, fully knowing that the time irrelevant activities at that moment isn’t necessary. The visionary will be a soldier in a war, the goal being to conquer. A visionary is worried about conquering the examination with flying colours. This visionary is fully aware about distractors, hence he/she doesn’t tolerate them at all.
A learner can stick the vision on the wall of his/ her room and this will keep on reminding the learner that focus is needed. A good lawyer, doctor, pharmacist is being prepared and the learner will be aiming at getting straight As or 15 points at Advanced Level. The more the learner sees his/ her vision, it makes him or her to be determined and fully focus on the school work.
A better future is waiting for you. Draw your vision now and pursue it. Remain steadfast. In the Bible Joseph remained focused on his vision. He was not deterred by the circumstances that he faced. You are the Joseph of tomorrow. Your passion one day will make you an influential person. Go for your dream! Dream Big!
