They will worship at your feet

REVELATION 3:9

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

This scripture has a deep meaning to it.

I will choose to take lessons from it rather than engage with its deeper doctrinal meaning.

I want to liken those that were mentioned as the synagogue of Satan, to your haters and naysayers.

Those who do not believe in you and look down upon you, are likened today, to your haters, doubters and those that do not believe that any good thing can come out of you.

Jesus is saying those who claimed to be true Jews, but were liars, because they were not, would one day worship at the feet of His loved ones.

I say those who are of the synagogue of Satan, that gather planning evil against you, will worship at your feet.

They will surrender themselves to you.

They will acknowledge the love of God in your life.

God will do something for you until your adversaries will come and worship at your feet in disbelief and acknowledgment of the love of God in your life.

Jesus is saying He will turn the tables so much so that those who did not want to associate with you will seek to be in your company.

Those who ran away from you will run to you.

Those who did not give you a job will seek employment from you.

They rebuffed you when you sought a morsel of bread; now they will seek you when you own the bakery.

Joseph was rejected by his brothers, thrown into a ditch, sold to Ishmaelites, and went out of his brothers’ memory.

But before he experienced all the misfortunes, Joseph had been shown a dream where his parents and brethren would bow down before him.

Prophecy has a tendency to linger and be forgotten, but because it is the Word of God, it cannot return to God void.

It surely comes to pass, no matter how long it takes, and the odds against it.

One day, Joseph became a prime minister in Egypt, and his brothers came to seek food.

God sent a famine in Canaan and prepared plenty in Egypt.

God has a way to force prophecy to happen.

When Joseph feigned to treat them roughly, they pleaded with him for their lives.

They referred to themselves to Joseph as “thy servant”.

God will make your naysayers worship before you.

Joseph sent his wagons to fetch Jacob and his household.

Jacob was in disbelief to hear that Joseph was, not only alive, but was a governor in Egypt.

His heart fainted because he did not believe that Joseph was alive and a successful man.

They will faint on hearing your success.

They will faint on seeing your breakthrough.

Jacob saw the wagons of Joseph and revived.

He saw the evidence of the success of Joseph.

He saw the evidence of God’s blessings on Joseph.

God’s deeds leave a trail.

Joseph had wagons.

If it was in this day, they will be G-wagons.

His entire household came over to Egypt and he took care of them.

The sun, moon and stars, which Jospeh saw in a dream, were now bowing before him.

His mother, father and brothers, were now owing their lives and livelihoods to Joseph.

Jesus whom they crucified, returned in the form of the Holy Ghost, and Peter and John proved that He was alive and back when they healed the cripple the beautiful gate.

Saul of Tarsus, who persecuted Christ though the church worshipped at His feet on his way to Damascus.

Saul wallowed in the dust as he acknowledged Jesus as Lord.

Those who don’t believe in you will meet their Damascus as Napoleon met his Waterloo.

Let this encourage you.

The synagogue of Satan’s plot against you is all in vain.

It will come to nought.

Those who persecute you will beg you for mercy.

Those that doubt you will confess their error.

God allowed it to happen to those referred to in our Scripture reading, in order for Him to show them at the end that He loved them.

When those who hate you will come to you begging.

It is not your occasion to show them that they were wrong and that you were right.

It will be God’s time to show them that He loves you.

It will be your time to be humble.

It will be your time to show them that God loves them too.

They will certainly come and worship at thy feet!
