IT’S that exciting time of year again when sneaker enthusiasts must begin stashing away their savings for a chance to acquire the most elusive and coveted footwear in the sneaker world.

The Bulawayo Sneaker Expo is returning for the third consecutive year, and this third edition promises an exciting twist as it relocates to the enchanting Mystic Gardens on October 21, departing from its traditional venue, The Barn.

Kicking off at 11am, the event is set to be more electrifying than ever, with a treasure trove of custom Jordans, Yeezys, and designer collaborations gracing the expansive inventory.

The expo serves as a magnetic gathering point, drawing collectors, suppliers, and footwear designers into a vibrant space where they vie for the ultimate bragging rights.

The expo is a vibrant celebration of the diverse footwear trends that echo through the streets of the city.

Behind this thrilling event are the passionate individuals who live and breathe kicks; Mlamuli Moyo of Woodies Shack, Mthulisi Moyo of Wood Affair, and their partners, Leroy Waps and Davison “Diva” Feliate.

Diva, the driving force behind the scenes, assures Chronicle Showbiz that this year’s event will surpass all expectations, offering sneaker lovers an opportunity they should not miss.

The Bulawayo Sneaker Expo is poised to be bigger and better than ever, ensuring that the world of sneakers continues to captivate the hearts of enthusiasts.

“Attendees will definitely get an upgrade from the previous editions. More shoes, more exhibitions and a whole new set up will be in place.

“We are still confirming on a couple of exhibitors so l will advise when all exhibitors have confirmed on how many we have this year. There are a lot of surprises to see at the venue on the day,” said Diva.

Diva said they have a talented line up of artistes who will be unveiled in due course.

“We have a crazy line up but we still yet to disclose for now but its crazy mad as our official entertainment starts as from 5pm.

“The culture as we know started in the streets so we are taking it back there, locally in the neighbourhoods, the cities, nationally and hopefully someday internationally,” said Diva. —@mthabisi_mthire
